European Day of Languages
On Thursday 26th September, we enjoyed celebrating the European Day of Languages. It is the first time we have joined together to celebrate this day but it certainly won’t be the last.
Year 8 delivered a fantastic assembly to the whole school on Monday showcasing ‘hello’ and ‘my name is’ in 14 different languages!
To mark the event, Mr Wilson and his team cooked an amazing lunch with food from Spain, Germany, Hungary, Italy and France. We were very impressed with how eager everyone was to try new foods and there were lots of clean plates!
Years 5-8 also enjoyed a taster lesson of German.
We look forward to celebrating next year’s European Day of Languages!
