Intra-School Set Gala

This event saw 74 pupils swimming a minimum of two individual races and a relay. It was the largest cohort of children we have had poolside in the last decade so the poolside was buzzing with excitement!

The opening event sees our most experienced swimmers compete for the Individual Medley trophy following a qualifier in curriculum swimming. All four races were well contested and it was great to see the level of competition on show. Congratulations to all those who made the final and to those who medalled.

Every swimmer demonstrated the incredible progress they have made over the course of the year and they should all be extremely proud of their achievements. There were some outstanding performances at all levels with so many children achieving personal best performances. I look forward to updating our swimming tracker to reflect these times!

The set relays are always a favourite and this year was no exception. While white set dominated in the individual races, it was a closer call in the team events which ended in a draw between white and blue set.

A fabulous end to a great term of swimming.
