Memory Lane

Former pupil Roger Walkinton (1966-72) has been in touch with a photograph taken during his time at St Hugh’s.  The photo was taken in October 1970 at the Petwood Hotel after the choir had sung at the wedding of Richard Pascoe to Tina Astley-Cooper.

Head Chorister Raymond Yarwood is standing on the bride’s right, and Roger is on the groom’s left aged 11. The back row standing are possibly (from l. to r.): Dickinson, Cannon, Mawer, Dan Albone, Gareth Crowe, Trevor Watson (Director of Music and organist), Anthony Townsend, bride and groom and ….others.
