Mindfulness Day

Today was Mindfulness Day at St Hugh’s and we were delighted to welcome Yoga Teacher, Sheena Rayner, to school.

The day started off with an assembly which gave an overview of what Mindfulness is and how it can improve your concentration and give you more energy. Throughout the day all pupils took part in a lesson with Mrs Rayner which involved breathing exercises, learning how to control thoughts and to stop your mind from wandering.
