St Hugh’s Remembers

On Friday 10th November the School gathered together to commemorate the fallen.

At 11 o'clock all the pupils and staff marked Remembrance Day with an act of remembrance. A poem was read by the Head Boy, prayers by the Head Girl and Deputy Heads of School and the Headmaster said a few words on the occasion to the whole school. The Last Post was played exceptionally well by Jack from Year 7.

Headmaster, Chris Ward, said; “It is important, as a School with close military links, that we remember those brave men and women, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, sons and daughters who gave their lives for their country.”
