Year 4 had a wonderful time visiting Gainsborough Old Hall today, they found the building and its history fascinating. They were amazed to find out they were standing in the room where King Henry the VIII stayed and enjoyed learning about what life was like in Tudor times. They had the opportunity to work in a Tudor kitchen and experience what a Tudor Banquet was like. They particularly enjoyed roast swan!
