Match Report

Result: Played 4, Won 2, Drew 1

We travelled to Brooke Priory in Oakham to play in their festival. Our first game was against Priory, who we had lost to at the Stamford festival. A quick reminder about everyone needing to tackle seemed to work as all the boys tackled really well! An early breakaway try from Edward was followed by two other tries and a 3-1 victory. We then played Leicester Grammar School (who have 38 boys to choose from!) We again won, this time 4-3. Our hardest game was against Copthill School, which was close, but we eventually lost 4-2. Our final game was against Peterborough school which finished 1-1. Impressive tries from Rory, Alastair and Callan and some excellent support work from Joshua and Edmund were definitely highlights.
