Match Report

Result: W 12-6

In our final match of the season we faced Grantham Prep in a Touch match. They only brought seven players so to ensure that everyone was playing, Noah played for Grantham in the first half and Holden in the second half and got well involved in the match - thank you for being so accommodating, boys. We started frenetically, though spaces were hard to find. Tries came from James, Josh and Sam initially after some very good passing moves. We managed to pin them back, too, and so we earned ourselves several turnovers of possession. Grantham showed great handling skills during the game as well and broke through for some well constructed tries. Overall we dominated though, and George sprinted through for a couple of tries. Ben, as captain in his final game, bustled through for a couple too. Edward B played splendidly, unfortunately with not much reward for his efforts and Rory S was unlucky to be hit by a bout of sickness. Well done boys, a great end to your season!
