U11A Team

Result: U11A, L 0-1

Today was a very close-fought and even game against a useful Witham side. We took a while to settle into the game and unfortunately went behind after some rather panicky and frantic defending in our box. Over the course of the game we probably had the lion’s share of possession and put together some decent moves at times. We just lacked a finishing touch or a clear-cut opportunity. The best chance came at the end of the game when a header was directed the wrong side of the bar. We survived a few near misses in our goalmouth as we pressed forward for an equaliser that did not materialise. A draw would probably have been a fair result.
