Match Reports

Results: B: 2-7 loss. C: 0-9 loss

The Under 11 B and C team both got the chance to play against Wellow on Wednesday. They each played two 10 minute quarters against the Wellow team which meant everyone got a chance to play. The opponents were very strong and frequently intercepted and jumped for the ball which meant that we couldn’t rely on high passes when attacking. As a result, this saw both the B and C team displaying some great bounce passes and getting into space in an attempt to travel up the court. In the first quarter, this gave Ailsa the chance to score a successful goal. The second quarter saw some better passing and intercepting from the B team, this time allowing Grace to score the second goal.

The C team found the match tricky but showed great determination throughout and constantly fought for the ball. Some strong defending saw both Amelie and Henrietta taking a shot at scoring but unfortunately these were unsuccessful.

Overall, despite the tricky opposition, both teams rose to the challenge and displayed some great teamwork and communication.
