Whilst the scores might suggest otherwise, this was a really good day for learning about the game. Great weather meant that we could move the ball around and there was a clear sense of progress between the first game and the second. We were looked after well by our hosts and the boys all performed well, made progress and enjoyed themselves. Next step is to move the line around so they can make space and capitalise on possession, rather than (as happened today) get sucked into rucks and leave huge gaps for the opposition to exploit.
