U12 Cricket v De Aston (H) 2.30pm

Result: Won

We hosted De Aston in the quarter finals of the county Cup competition. Aydin won the toss and asked De Aston to bat.

Will L bowled particularly accurately and this was followed by some more accurate bowling from Rory S and Euan. The inexperienced De Aston side were struggling to score freely. Rory P came on to bowl and picked up a wicket first ball, caught by Eli. De Aston finished on 40 runs after 16 overs.

We started strongly with some nice shots by Euan and Max before Max was bowled and Euan retired on 16 to give others a bat. Wilf and Charlie also batted confidently and we easily scored the 41 runs we needed. On to the the semi final!
