This was the first round of the county cup. Will H won the toss and chose to bat. We made a shaky start, losing our first 3 batsmen early. Jack C steadied the innings before being caught. We were on 42- 5 after 9 overs when Charlie H joined George P. Charlie hit his first 3 balls for 4 and, with George also batting well the pair of them put on 88 for the 6th wicket. Charlie finished on 30 not out and George and excellent 55 not out. 130 was a good score on quite a lively wicket. When Minster batted they made a poor start with the opener run out by will H second ball! Will, George and Freddie R bowled well to reduce them to 18-4. Matthew K and Joseph S then continued to take wickets, with Louis C taking their final one to get Minster all out for 33. A victory by 97 runs and through to the County Cup semi final!
