We lost the toss but were ready to play. We started strongly winning the centre pass and working it down to the D. After a couple of tries Alice scored and on the next centre, it took less than a minute for Ava to make an amazing run and score. King Edward's started to move swiftly and scored. In the next five minutes they had managed to equalize but then Alice scored again. At the end of the first quarter, it was 3-2.

In the next quarter Grace and Amelia swapped. King Edward's had the first centre and again we were ready. They made a quick advantage but Kelsey intercepted which led to another goal to St Hugh's. King Edward's played well but they had subbed their very strong Centre which led to them only scoring another 2 as we scored another 4. At half time the score was 8-4.

At this point, their players were tired but also noticed how we play and took this to their advantage and scored another 3. We tried hard and pushed King Edward's but they couldn’t keep up with Alice and Ava. This made the score 10-7.

In the last quarter, it was a very even game. With both teams making great runs.
