We won the toss and chose first centre. We stated off by crowding the ball and the passes being weak. Due to this Witham soon intercepted the ball and scored. Grace did some excellent work on the wing and we managed to get one back. Then Witham replied with another few goals. We were determined to win so we pushed on and scored another but despite our efforts witham scored. First quarter score = 6-2 to Witham.

In the second quarter we were determined to catch up to Witham. Grace managed to find space and got it to Emily who scored. But Witham played hard back and got 2. Bridie did a brilliant centre pass to Emily who passed to Ava and Ava scored. We then pushed on hard but then we started to do silly, dangerous passes which lead to Witham scoring. Unfortunately both teams started to get messy and rushing. End score of that quarter= 4-11 to Witham.

Miss Hainsworth gave us a great team talk and we went onto the court knowing what we needed to do. Witham had a shot at goal but they missed and Pippa got the rebound which led to us doing some great passing work and scoring. Witham got 2 back. We were playing a lot better and getting the ball nearer our end a lot more. The whistle went for the third quarter and the score was 5-13 to Witham.

We went on the court in the last quarter feeling determined to win. Grace did a great interception which meant us to score 2. We did some brilliant passing work but unfortunately witham intercepted and scored. We did some good defending work which lead to us scoring. We were improving lots by the end of the match. End score 10-18 to Witham. Unlucky girls, we played well good luck next time!
