On Thursday afternoon the U9 and U11 swim team travelled to Louth Meridian to compete in the School Games Swimming, where St Hugh's were competing as a Coastal school.  For some, this was their first experience of competing in a 25m pool!  The competition saw a number of local schools swimming in a range of events, including individual races and team relays. St Hugh's had some outstanding performances with the majority of swimmers winning their event.  We also demonstrated great strength in the team events, winning both the medley and freestyle relay at both age groups!  It was super to have some of our Year 3 pupils involved in the U9 team and we look forward to seeing them progress next year. Special congratulations to Sophie, Ailsa and Elliot who were talent scouted for Lincoln Vulcans Swimming Club!.  Well done to all competitors and many thanks to our parents who spectated so enthusiastically!
