Ukraine Appeal

Thank you to everyone for the incredibly generous donations made to the St Hugh’s collection point.

Mrs Costello has been in close liaison with The Polish School Lincoln who are organising the collection for Ukraine and we are delighted to now have teamed up with the Woodhall Spa Lions Club. All goods will be transported to Poland by registered charities or private transport and will be distributed to Ukrainians who have arrived in Poland and those still in Ukraine.

Our Head Girl and Head Boy, Ruby and Harry, ventured into the village on World Book Day in fancy dress to spread the word of our collection point at school. Thank you to all the amazing local shops and businesses who have displayed the fantastic posters made by pupils in our Eco Warriors group.

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our families and the local community – and we are sure everyone will be delighted to hear that our first load of donations has arrived in Poland ready to be distributed to Ukrainian refugees!

We are still accepting donations and if you can spare any of the following it would be greatly appreciated:

• Dry food/cans
• Batteries/power banks
• Camping cups/plates/bowls/cutlery
• First aid items
• Gloves/thermal blankets
• Torches
• Baby care products/nappies/bottles/formula

*Please note they are not currently collecting general items of clothing*
