Welcome Back to St Hugh’s

It was lovely to welcome back all pupils to St Hugh’s this morning and thank you to our parents for the smooth drop off in the designated entrances:

• Nursery - metal gate at front right of school
• Reception to Year 4 - double metal gate from the car park leading to the pavilion
• Year 5 - side gate by sports hall
• Years 6- 8 - side entrance to adventure playground

We start the 20/21 academic year with a strong cohort of pupils. Our Boarding Houses are thriving with increased numbers of weekly boarders and we are now running two buses from the Skegness area.

For the majority of the school day, pupils will remain in their class bubble, however for break times, dining and games lessons we have divided the school into a series of extended bubbles via Year groups. This half of term both boys and girls will be playing cricket, hockey and rugby, although, sadly, fixtures against other schools are cancelled at the moment.
