Year 7 Visit to the Civil War Centre

On Friday 16th of May Year 7 went to the Civil War Centre. We started off going on a guided tour learning about the Civil War and different tactics that they used. We then learned about King Charles I’s trial and execution and had the lucky opportunity to role play through the whole thing. Finally we went to a room to try on some armour and learn how to load muskets. It was a great day out and all of Year 7 really enjoyed it. Thank you to the National Civil War Centre for making this happen.
