Years 7 & 8 Scholarship Assessment Day Deadline
Each year St Hugh’s offers scholarships and exhibitions to a number of outstanding pupils, both currently at the School and also applying from other schools for Years 7 and 8. Academic, Art, Music, Drama and Sport Scholarships are available for entry into Year 7 for this September (2018) and the aim of the scheme is to enable pupils to develop their talents further before moving onto their senior schools at 13.
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of outstanding ability in academia, creative or performing arts (art, design, drama or music), or sport and the financial value of each scholarship will be set up to the value of 10%, although scholarships may be supplemented by a means tested bursary.
The assessment day is Friday 9th March and the deadline for scholarship applications for 2018 entry is 5pm on Friday 2nd March.
