Tuesday 12th December – Pre-Prep Nativity Performances at 9.00am

Please can I ask that parents use the car park at the rear of the school as this will be a very busy morning – additional parking will be made available at the rear of the school. Refreshments will be available for parents from 8.45am.  The Pre-Prep pupils will be enjoying their Christmas party in the afternoon.

Pupils in Years 3 – 8 will be sent home with their PE whites, tracksuits and trainers.  They may come to school on Wednesday in this kit in preparation for the Set Cross Country event.

Wednesday 13th December – Years 3-8 Set Cross Country at 2pm.

Pupils in Years 3 – 8 should arrive in school in their white PE kit, tracksuit and trainers in preparation for the set cross country event.   All games and PE kit will be sent home following the cross country event on Wednesday afternoon and can be collected from the sports hall following the cross country presentations. Lost property will also be laid out in the sports hall.

Thursday 14th December - Christmas Jumper Day

Please can I remind you that pupils may wear 'home clothes' along with their Christmas jumpers in aid of Save the Children, with your permission a £1 donation will be added to your school bill. The children will be having their Christmas lunch and pupils in Years 3 – 8 will be having their discos throughout the course of the afternoon.  My thanks go to the St. Hugh's Parents' Association for arranging the Pre-Prep Christmas party and discos for the children.

We will be sending home all belongings on Thursday afternoon for the end of term.  Children will not need to bring anything to school apart from their blazers (Y3-8) on Friday morning.

Friday 15th December - Carol Service

All the children from Transition to Year 8 will be attending the carol service that commences at 2.00pm.  This year, all the children from Reception to Year 8 will be taking part in the carol service.  The conclusion of the service will mark the end of term and you will be able to collect your child/ren from the church rather than at school.  We will ask the children to remain seated at the end of the service and would ask that you collect your child/ren from their seat; you will need to notify a member of staff.  Any pupils not collected at the end of the service will be escorted back to school and should be collected by 3.30pm.  Please note there is no after-school care or afternoon bus runs on the last day of term.
