IAPS U11 Hockey (A) Repton
Match Report
What a fantastic day for the U11s! Competing in a pool of six, the girls remained unbeaten, securing wins against Fairfield (1–0), Solihull (2–0) and Bablake (1–0), alongside goalless draws against Kimbolton and Bluecoat.
Winners of their pool, they entered the Cup quarter-final, the girls continued their excellent form with a 2–0 victory over King’s Hawford, courtesy of goals from Hollie and Bella.
A tense semi-final against Repton Prep finished 0–0, with the girls narrowly losing on shuffles. Undeterred, they battled brilliantly against Solihull in the bronze medal match, drawing 0–0 before securing victory this time on shuffles. Two outstanding saves from Abi proved crucial!
A fantastic team effort, with Bella, Cecily and Willow creating attacking threats, Hollie working hard in midfield, and Emilia and Anna providing a solid defensive line in front of Abi, who made some crucial saves in goal. A special shout-out to Lana (Year 5), our brilliant super-sub and team mascot!
