Ranby Cross Country
It was a slightly cold and grey afternoon and after a slightly hectic start the children performed brilliantly across all teams. It was the U9 girls that ran first and we were amazed to see Valentina come round the corner on to the home stretch in 1st which is where she placed, it was fantastic to see and this really increased the mood across the other teams. U9 boys ran second again the boys did well with a top ten finish from George P. U11 girls were next up and all the girls did brilliantly with Harriet getting 3rd, Cecily finishing 8th and all the other girls finishing in the top 15. This was a great team effort. Finally it was the U11 boys' turn. Once again the boys did well with Beau finishing 3rd and Gio and Edward R finishing in the top ten.
In the team competition St Hughs were awarded 2nd place in 3 out the four teams. All the children should be proud of themselves. Fantastic effort!!!
