Ranby U9 & U11 Cross Country (A) 1.30pm
Match Report
It was another superb effort by the St Hugh’s runners on Wednesday afternoon, with another invitational run hosted this week by Ranby House. With 21 pupils across Y3-6 competing in their respective categories, St Hugh’s demonstrated grit and determination as they battled their way around a tough course. It was great to see a number of these runners competing up an age category, giving them good exposure in preparation for next year. This included Zach, Leo, Arthur, H, Theo, Phillipa, Anayra,Lucy, Ottilie, George and Albie which equates to almost 50% of runners! It was particularly pleasing to achieve 3rd place in both the U11 Boys and Girls races…with the girls being just one point behind the joint winners!
Individually, we had notable top 10 performances from Hollie F (2nd U11 Girl), Tilly G (5th U9 Girl), Vinny B (6th U11 Boy), Abi B (7th U11 Girl) and Charles P (9th U11 Boy).
Well done Team St Hugh’s - your support for one another was great to see. Thank you as always to our parents who made the journey to spectate.
