St Hugh’s Annual Golf Club Challenge 2025
On the hottest day of the year we went to the golf club short course practice area to play our annual competition. Due to an irrigation issue the greens were very hard and brown so it was extremely difficult to keep your pitch shots on the green, making long range puts very important. This year we introduced a Set competition to the individual competition, with the three best rounds from each set counting. There were a number of 2’s scored, with Charles B getting 1 and Seb F getting 2!
After finishing all 12 holes the top finishers were:
1st - Megan B - 46 shots
2nd - Rory S - 50 shots
3rd - Seb F - 54 shots
4th - Charles B - 56 shots
5th - Wil L - 59 shots
=6th - Rory P - 60 shots
=6th - Sam H - 60 shots
