St Hugh’s Golf Cup Challenge - 11.00am - 12.40pm
Twelve pupils competed in our Annual Golf Cup on Woodhall Spa Short Practice area. The competition was played as a stroke play event over ten holes. Although the holes are short, they are tricky, with some inviting bunkers and undulating greens. As well as a few high scores, there were four 2’s achieved; Rory S, Rory P, Noah G and Josh M all managed a 2.
The result was very close; Sam H and Josh M both took 40 shots and finished 3rd equal. Rory P went round in 36 and Rory S went 1 better and won the competition with 35. The name ‘Rory’ is clearly a good one if you want to be a golfer!
Thank you to Megan B, class of 2025, who came along to support the event and present the trophy to the first male since the competition began! Well done to all competitors.
