St Hugh’s Netball News!

It is great to see our pupils benefiting from our developing connection with Lincoln City Netball Club. This has seen a number of St Hugh’s pupils joining the club, training on a Thursday evening, facilitated by school transport. The girls have also committed to fixtures and tournaments at the weekend.

Being involved in club netball gives players the opportunity to trial for the County Performance Pathway and it is great to see 2024 leaver, Sophie T, representing Lincoln City for the second time at England Netball Nationals tomorrow - you can watch Sophie live here. Sophie’s passion for Netball began at St Hugh’s where she was signposted towards club and the county performance pathway.

Year 6 pupils, Genevieve and Penelope, are following in her footsteps, currently part of the Lincolnshire County Pathway and representing LCNC, who have recently won the U11 Lincolnshire County League. Well done to all our girls who have committed to club netball! For any information, please speak to Ms Blee-Storey, our Netball specialist.
