St Hugh’s U13 T1 Rugby Festival (H) 1.30pm
Match Report
St Hugh’s were delighted to host Barnes Wallis Academy and Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Alford for our first U13 T1 non-contact rugby festival.
The afternoon was all about fun, enjoyment and learning a new sport, with pupils, both boys and girls given the opportunity to develop their rugby skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The teams played a round-robin format, with every school playing against each other. There was plenty of enthusiasm and energy throughout the afternoon, with lots of tries scored and some excellent rugby on show from all 4 teams.
Most importantly, everyone got involved, supported one another and enjoyed the experience. It was fantastic to see pupils developing their confidence, learning new skills and embracing the spirit of the game.
A huge thank you to Barnes Wallis Academy and Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Alford for joining us, and to all the staff, pupils and others involved in making the festival such a great success.
It was a brilliant afternoon of rugby, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another festival in the future.
