It was the U10’s first fixture against a very strong Copthill side, they had their first experience of short corners and the team adapted well to deny Copthill any goals through those passages of play.
The team regrouped for the second half and found space and were quicker in transition which gave them more attacking opportunities towards their goal, showing resilience throughout the match and adapted well to all the rolling sub changes. Well done girls, great team work showed in your first game.

On a cloudy Wednesday afternoon the u11s played their first match of the season. After supporting the u10 team the u11s were eager to start and this showed with 2 quick goals from Cecily. St Hugh's dominated the first half with scoring 3 goals and some great defense which meant at half time it was 3-0. In the second half it was more even between the teams with Copthill scoring but the team pulled together and kept their heads up, which resulted in 2 more goals by Anna and Willow. It was a fantastic match with everyone putting a 100% effort in. Well done team.
