Match Report
Under 11s took part in the Brooke Priory Festival on Wednesday afternoon. The first match against Laxton was an exciting end to end game which resulted in a 5-5 draw with Gio running in all five tries for St Hughs. Match 2 versus Leicester Grammar School was another tied match with 4 tries each. Gio with two tries, Beau with one and George C finished off a great, well worked team try which showed off our passing and support lines. By the time we competed in our third and final match against Brooke Priory, unfortunately fatigue had began to hit our team in full force due to the hard work our eight players had shown in every match throughout the afternoon, resulting in a 6-0 defeat. Other highlights from the day were Beau’s strong tackling and Edward R’s rucking and work at the breakdown. A great team effort, well done to all!
