Result: Leicester Grammar- 1-0 (L), Brooke Priory- 3-2 (W), Beeston- 0-0, The Elms-0-0, Witham Hall-1-0 (L), Stamford-3-0 (L)
The girls' hockey tournament began with a 1-0 loss to Leicester Grammar, despite maintaining a good formation. After a quick team chat, the squad returned to the pitch with confidence, defeating Brooke Priory 3-2, with Harriet scoring a hat-trick! What an accomplishment! We drew with Beeston and The Elms, then fought hard against Witham Hall before succumbing at the last minute. Stamford was our final game of the afternoon, and despite Tallulah's many saves, we were defeated! A lovely bright afternoon full of brilliant hockey. Congratulations to Coco and Harriet on their awards as festival players.
