The girls were excited to play after watching the A team’s victory, Grantham had won the toss and had first centre pass. In the first few minutes of the game both side had equal possession of the ball and were quiet equal. The girls managed to get the ball down into Grantham’s D and with some great teamwork between Leah and Holly, Leah scored her first goal. In the last few minutes of the first half a great ball from Emily to Freya meant that Freya set up the goal for Holly to score. The girls’ team work and communication and skills were great in the first half and after a team talk at half time the girls’ confidence going into the second half was high.
