U13 Girls:
Result: W 313-260
St Hugh’s girls softball team traveled to Stamford on Wednesday for their last game this term.
The girls opted to field first and we saw strong accurate bowling from most of the pairs, and great fielding as a team causing Stamford to lose 5 wickets during their Innings and St Hugh’s keeping them to a 260 total to beat.
Into batting and Stamford responded strongly with St-Hugh’s losing 3 wickets in the first 3 overs due to miss communication when running and quick fielding from Stamford. St Hugh’s fought back, Olivia finding the boundary on six occasions scoring two sixes and four fours. Not to be left in the shadows Tallulah, Camilla , Tabby and Coco all hitting sixes and fours to keep pushing up their teams score line.
Fantastic team effort from the girls in both the field and Batting saw the team take another fantastic win this term.
Well done everyone!!
