Despite being a player down through illness, the U12s approached a tough fixture with a positive attitude. Oakham kindly provided alumni Flo Brockway to help out! Verity impressed in midfield with some excellent through balls to Bella on the right wing, while Emily threatened in attack without success. Maddie commanded the defence and Eva made some crucial tackles. Despite their efforts, the girls were outplayed by a strong Oakham side, losing 8–0.
