Match Report
Our Year 3 cohort travelled to Tranby on Monday afternoon for a Tag Rugby and Hockey Festival. It was lovely to have the whole year group involved and to see them play as Under 8’s for a change without their peers from Year 4.
With Jack poorly, the boys were reduced to just 7 players which meant no substitutions throughout the afternoon for the St Hugh’s side. Playing against some much larger squads who could benefit from fresh legs was always going to be a challenge but the team did well to compete in back to back games over the course of the afternoon.
We played teams from Tranby, Lincoln Minster, Pocklington, Scarborough and Read. This is a good festival for us given that we get to play some different schools to our normal network.
