U9B Team
Result: W5-1
The U9B team hosted Grantham mixed hockey team. The girls played with real grit and determination and fought for possession. Agatha and Verity were solid in defence and rarely let a ball through. Verity was the captain today.
Hetty scored her first goal and was more confident going in for tackles. Maddie was excellent throughout the match, a fearless player!
Olivia, Annabelle and Emily played well at times but often lost focus and needed to keep up with match play.
Harriet scored 4 goals and is an invaluable member of this team. I’m sure she will enjoy the tournaments after half term.
A great first half to the season, well done girls!
