We travelled to Stamford to play against Bedford School and Stamford School. Bedford had two teams of seven players, to make it 8-a-side Josh M agreed to play against us in the first game and Henry in the second. We dominated possession in the first game and had plenty of opportunities to score, but were either saved by their goalkeeper or we put it wide. Rory, Miles, Henry and Callun all went close. The game finished 0-0. In the second game there were chances at both ends with Edward J in goal making a couple of good saves, Bedford went ahead through a penalty shuffle, we then had one of our own but unfortunately failed to score. We then equalised when George P slotted home. The game finished 1-1.
Our final game was against the Stamford ‘C’ team. They were not as strong as Bedford and we dominated from the start. George C opened the scoring and this was quickly followed with a second from Rory P. Miles, Henry, Paul and Josh M all got on the score sheet as we eventually won 7-0.
