U9 Mixed Cricket v Wellow (A)

Wellow are unable to field four teams so some of the U9A players who played in a fixture last week will have an indoor training session.

U9 Mixed Team 1

Result: Won 

Team 1 had their first cricket match of the season at Wellow and unlike last year had a sunny afternoon. We won the toss and chose to bat first. Batting was a bit tricky with a lot of wide balls but the whole team gave it a go and scored a couple of boundaries and sneaking some runs, but something to improve. We had a good total to defend and the teams bowling was better with not so many wides and a few wickets taken. Overall a great start to the season and well done for winning your first match.
