We had a fabulous afternoon over in Oakham on Wednesday for the Brooke Priory Invitational Athletics. A team of 10 Y4, Y5 and Y6 pupils competed across five events including Sprint, Middle Distance, Howler Throw, Standing Long Jump and Standing Triple Jump. Competition was tough but it was great to see every St Hugh’s athlete showing determination in all disciplines. There were some outstanding performances in all age categories with St Hugh’s demonstrating lots of potential on the track and in the field. A huge well done to all teams and a special shout out to our Y5 team who won the event from a large field of schools! Our Y4 and Y6 were not far behind, both securing 2nd place - a fantastic effort for Team St Hugh’s!
