On Wednesday 14th June Years 6 & 7 were invited to Oakham School for a Cricket Masterclass with Fi Morris, a professional cricketer.
When we arrived there, we were greeted with t-shirts and put into teams from 1 to 12. There were six stations with different activities and five other schools in attendance. After we had a few of our activities we had a break with some orange juice and flapjacks then we went back to finish the activities.
The activities included skills such as throwing the ball at the wickets, hitting the ball through cones and catching the ball from left to right. After we had completed the activities we had a Q&A session where we had the opportunity to ask some questions. They were kind enough to give us all autographs and then we finished with some delicious hot dogs. Overall it was a very good experience.
