Match Report
The U10 team visited Ranby for the first match of the season. The team are very fast, but not very big so we needed a lot of courage and a good technique to tackle some of the much bigger Ranby players.
We started a little hesitantly and Ranby scored from the start. When we had possession we put some excellent passing plays together with Beau, Gio, Edward R and both George’s finding super positions to support the player with the ball. We came back strongly in the middle third of the game, drawing this section 2-2 with fantastic tries from Beau and George C who ran half the pitch to score!
Our tackling got better as the match progressed with Gio definitely earning the ‘tackler of the match’ award! An encouraging start. Well done boys!
