Similar to the Under 11 netballers, the U11 boys footballers travelled to Witham on a gloriously sunny day facing three very strong Witham sides. All the teams showed good resilience, battled hard and tried to play some decent football. Despite opening the scoring with a lovely individual goal from Gio, and sterling work in goal by Beau, the A team could not find a way through again despite carving out several good chances. The B team similarly started well and put some good passes together, with Charles P looking dangerous on the flanks, but could not quite break down the Witham rearguard. The Cs stuck to their tasks in the face of strong attacks and George kept his cool under pressure in goal.
