On Wednesday our U11 team welcomed Grantham Prep for opening games of the season. We were lucky enough to use the indoor court this week and with all girls involved it was a super afternoon of sport. In training we have been working hard on our passing technique and how to move ourselves and the ball effectively down the court. This afternoon, the girls were split into three teams (Navy, Red and Purple) and completed a rotation of four positions. It was fantastic to see the girls' knowledge of who takes the ball as this helped speed up the game. As teams, the girls had individual moments of excellence, but also collaborative efforts. Some super shots were scored and equally there were some great defensive turnovers. It is very pleasing to see the progress made already and we look forward to continuing to build our skills and knowledge this season. A really successful and positive start. Well done girls!
