Match Report
The U11’s travelled to Stamford to play in a mini festival. Despite some frequent changes in weather (sun, rain, hail) the girls were in good spirits and were full of energy on court. The squad was split into two teams of 6 with each team playing 3-4 games. This allowed for lots of rotation and variety in positions.
In the red team Olivia A was on fire with her shooting and range of distance in shots. I was particularly impressed with the shooter to shooter passes that all girls made in their rotation pairings. The ball was passed well and accurately and the girls were quick on loose balls and defensive turnovers. A super effort from all!
In the Navy team there was some excellent teamwork and skills shown on court. The girls worked hard on holding their drives and moving forward towards the ball. St Hugh’s came away with a positive result and should be incredibly proud of themselves.
Despite a hail storm and lots of rain the girls returned to the bus full of smiles and laughter. Another super Wednesday of netball!!
