U11 Netball v Wisbech/Stamford (A) 2.30pm

Match Report

On Wednesday 8 U11’s travelled to Wisbech for a triangular fixture. The girls played Stamford first and demonstrated some excellent movement on court. Their drives towards the ball were fantastic and it allowed the ball to flow down the court effortlessly. Defensively Annabelle, Charlotte and Willow turned multiple balls and gave St Hugh’s as many shooting opportunities as possible. Anna was on fire playing centre and supporting the attack and defence. She was given opposition's player at the end by Stamford.

Next the girls took on a strong Wisbech side. Despite having a tough opposition the girls didn’t let their heads drop and played together till the final whistle. It was fantastic to see the teamwork and communication on court. Well done to Verity for being chosen as opposition's player.
