Match Report
Result: A Team 330-187 Win
Once the rain cleared and the sun came shining through, our U9 team took to the field for their final match of the season against LMS — and what a way to finish!
We started with the bat and showed strength and confidence right from the first ball. Harriet was in fine form, striking several boundaries and even smashing a six to the delight of the team and supporters. The whole team contributed well, running smartly between the wickets and keeping the scoreboard ticking. We ended our innings on a strong total of 330.
Our momentum continued into the fielding innings, with some of the best bowling we’ve seen all season. Coco delivered a full over of six dot balls, showing fantastic control and consistency. The team fielded with real energy and focus, and we were rewarded with some excellent wickets and catches from Harriet, Verity, Faith, and Edward Read.
It was a brilliant team performance, full of determination and enjoyment — finishing on a strong win to round off a fantastic season of cricket!
