Team A - Result - St Hughs 213 Stamford 153

A brilliant sunny start to the first match of the season. We lost the toss and was put into bat, Gio and Edward R got us of to a great start with both of them scoring multiple boundaries. Tallulah and Annabelle B came in second and kept the scoring going with both getting boundaries. Arabella and Faith were the third pair in and they had some good running between the wickets and boundaries. The forth pair in was Genevieve and Hetty they had good communication and good running. The fifth pair was Olivia A and Coco W they kept the scoring going unfortunately a wicket was taken but a couple of boundaries were scored. Overall a good first batting performance. 
It was time for us to field. Gio and Edward R again got us off to a good start with 2 wickets being taken. Tallualah and Annabelle had a wicket taken and a few boundaries but the team ajusted their field and this showed with them stopping further boundaries later on in the match. Arabella and Faith were up to bowl and further wickets being taken. Genevieve and Hetty were next in and again some great bowling with more wickets. Finally Oliva A and Coco was in and they ended the match with more wickets. Overall it was a great team performance with everyone doing their bit for the team. It was a great first match - looking forward to the next one!! Well done team!!!
