Match Report

It was our opening race of the cross country season on Wednesday at Witham Hall Invitational. This event saw four teams of St Hugh’s runners travelling to compete in their respective age/gender categories. It was a super effort from all, with some notable top 10 performances from Beau (2nd), Harriet (8th), Hollie (10th) and Valentina (3rd). A special mention to our Year 3 runners who were competing a year young (Georgia, Ophelia, Charlotte, Raphael and Monty). Georgia N finished as our highest placed Y3 coming in at 11th.

The top four finishers for each category scored points for their teams giving an overall team score and result (see below). This was a promising start and good preparation for their next race on Friday at Rutland Water.
