U13 Hockey v Uppingham (A) 2.15pm

Result: 3-3 D
The boys travelled to Uppingham for their first ever game of hockey against their new junior house. We started well with Rory S providing a pass from the right for Rory P to push home at the back post. This was repeated 4 minutes later but Uppingham struck back a minute later.
The score was 2-1 at half time and both teams were opening up opportunities.
The focus in the second half was to pass with stronger pushes and look for a St Hugh’s teammate.
Six minutes into the second half the two Rorys combined again to put us in control. However, Uppingham were not finished and they scored on 10 minutes and again on 15 minutes.
With 5 minutes left on the clock either team could have taken the win but despite chances to both sides an even game finished 3-3.
