Wearing new kit, sponsored by Brown & Co, the girls put in a strong team performance against a well-matched Worksop side. The first half was evenly contested, with St Hugh’s working hard in all areas of the court but trailing 5–8 at the break. Worksop pulled away in the third quarter, helped by an extremely accurate GS. However, St Hugh’s showed great resilience and determination, winning the final quarter as they worked tirelessly to close the deficit.
After being tasked with scoring more goals this week, Emily delivered a standout performance in the shooting circle. Having set herself a second-half target of matching her five first-half goals, she buckled down and exceeded expectations, finishing with an impressive 10 goals overall. Olivia provided excellent support at GA adding a further four goals.It was a performance everyone should be proud of, with Tabitha voted Opposition Player of the Match.
